Chibuike out to dazzle Rosenborg fans


In-form Nigeria born attacking midfielder John Chibuike says he's ready to give all his best to his new club Rosenborg FC of Norway after completing a three year deal.

The youngster was a successful player in Sweden with BK Hacken since his move in 2009. He has been rated as one of the best export player in the Sweden league last season following his impressive games, and his eight goals in 21 appearance for Hacken is of no doubt the quality of the talent player.

"I have come to stay, to play and to impress the fans,"Chibuike reveal exclusively.
"I thank God for the move, it is a right move for me despite some other offers but choosing to play in Norway after Sweden is a good objective for my career. I know where my games will take me to, and I believe by the grace of God, I will end up  playing in one of the biggest club in Europe after Norway.

"I understand the feeling of the fans, and I wish to give my best to them, not individually but as a team, I will help Rosenborg with the remainder of the season.

Akinsola wait for Dream Team chance


Cardiz CF of Spain winger Kabiru Akinsola has remain patience on his chances of playing for Nigeria U-23 team for the 2012 Olympic qualifiers games to be hosted in Egypt.

The lanky winger penned three year deal with La Liga new boys Granada FC but was loaned out to second division for consistent playing before he will be call back into the team next season, and the former U-17 World Cup winner is adamant of his Nigeria chances in the 2012 Olympic qualifiers.

"I know the calibers of stars in the team, But since am playing week in week out, I think I deserve an invitation to serve my father land. "It's been long I came to play for Nigeria. I am in a new club doing my best at the moment, and i will appreciate the coaches call into the team that will fight for the final ticket to London 2012 Olympic games.

John Chibuike Joins Rosenborg In Norway


After what it could be regarded as a successful season with BK Hacken in Sweden, John Chibuike has joined Norwagian club Rosenborg FC.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder joined Rosenborg FC on a three-year contract following his impressive games in the colours of BK Hacken.
Chibuike was rated as one of the finest player in the Swedish League this season after scoring a sensational 8 goals in 21 appearance before taking his trade to Norway.
"I'm very happy to be on the move again, I know the future is bright and I believe I have lot to give Rosenborg just like I did in BK Hacken. I'm very happy to be here, I know much about the league and it is almost the same like Sweden. I will be ready to produce my best form.
