STANLEY IHUGBA set to lights up Norway

Sarpsborg midfield prince Stanley Ihugba has promise to dazzle more for his club and his suitors this season in the Norwegian league and vows to lift his club back to the top flight.

The 23-years-old playmaker gave his coach a green light in their preseason games in Spain and also promise the club fans that a return to the top flight this season is achievable as the league resumes next month.
“My ability is needed in this team and I promise to give it all now,” said Ihugba who was dubbed as new Mikel in Norway.

“Everybody in the club knows what I can do when I am fit and I can’t resist such responsibility. “This is the time to make myself known to the World, I want to help my club back to top league and we are ready for the season. We will make sure that the fans laugh at the end of the season.

The Nigeria youngster has politely responded to all speculation by making it plain that he has no immediate plan to leave Sarpsborg and hope to help the team back to the topflight this season.

“I have closed all gates for transfer speculations as I couldn’t move in the January transfer,” Ihugba reveals exclusively to 9jasoccerboysblog.
“I want to stay and progress here, I believe we can go back to the topflight this season. “I don’t want to leave here to sit on the bench. I am a kind of player that loves to be active every week. “But I understand that football is about mobility and I don’t want to make the wrong one.”

Given his ability to create opportunity for strikers from the midfield, while still seizing goal scoring for himself, a move to a more prestigious league must only be a matter of time.

“I want to stay and progress here, I believe we can go back to the topflight this season. “I don’t want to leave here to sit on the bench. I am a kind of player that loves to be active every week. “But I understand that football is about mobility and I don’t want to make the wrong one.”
