MICHAEL hopes to outshine Shakhtar


Kryvbas dazzling midfielder, Babatunde Michael hopes to get a starting shirt in order to outshine Shakhtar Donetsk as both team clash in Ukrainan league on Friday.
The left winger dubbed ‘African Messi’ has so far impress his coach despite battling with first team shirt but will be looking forward to a starting shirt to face the champions.
The 18-year-old Michael, who last starred for Heartland in the Nigeria Premier League, is now expected to join with the Nigeria U23s for this weekend’s 2012 Olympics qualifier against Equatorial Guinea in Benin City.
 “I feel that when I play, I play good matches. All I want is to be consistent, there is this believe in me that I will be great in this game, all I need is to have my chances. I am getting close that already and my coach has always believe in my ability but my best is yet to come, said Michael"
"Playing against Shakhtar is will be a big honor, I am aware of how good they are and competing with calibers of stars in the team will be a privilege for me. I think the decision is for the coach, I am ready to play my game and outshine our opponent if I am the chance by the coach."

'Determined' ODIBE returns from thigh injury


Dnipro central defender Michael Odibe has returned from sustained thigh injury and will be ready to face Metalurh Donetsk  at the Stadion Metalurh on Saturday.
Dnipro who occupy the second position in the Ukrainian league table beat Metalurh Zaporizhya at the Dnipro Arena last week Monday in what promises to be a fierce encounter as both sides are in dire need of a win and Juande Ramos team will be looking forward to continue their impressive forms this weekend.
And Odibe who featured in Dnipro's tie against Tavriya that ended 2-1 in favour of Dnipro but was left to watch form the bench as his side got a vital 2-1 away victory in Netherland against PSV in the Europa League.
"I am happy to be back, I sustained a slight thigh injury but I am back to full training and will be looking forward to start on Saturday."
