EMENIKE backs Eagles for Victory in Kigali

Spartak Moscow striker, Emmanuel Emenike has call on Nigerians to give the selected players for the battle of Kigali when Nigeria tackle Rwanda in 2013 Nations Cup qualifiers.

Emenike was part of the dropped Super Eagles players for the Rwanda match, and has backed the selected team to beat Rwanda in the first phase of 2013 Nations Cup.

While speaking on the Rwanda match, the prolific striker also urged the invited players to keep the focus and help the coach achieve his dream in the Super Eagles team.
The 24 years-old star was an instrumental in Spartak’s victory in pre-season triumph, thanks to his muscular build and explosive acceleration, he is about as easy to stop as a boulder rolling down a mountainside, and to gift-wrap the package he complete with above-dribbling ability, a stinging shot in his right foot and an instinct for being in the right place in the box at the right time.
“I believe so much in the team and I am confident that with the caliber of players that will line up for the game will make the country proud.
“It does not matter whether I’m there or not what matter is the progress of the team and to support the coach. We know the expectations of the fans even after we gallantly lost out the 2012 ticket but such will not happen as we embark on the 2013 tournament and my prayer is for the team and Nigeria to progress irrespective of the selected players.
When asked if he’s disappointed, he said: “No, no, no, I can’t be disappointed because the coaches are working for the progress of majority and I believe I am still part of the team.” This is a new coach with new plans, so it is our own faith to accept whatever decision he take. “But I think everybody is relevant in Keshis team.
